A kind of jasmine that has been given its Latin botanical name after King Bhumipol Adulyadej (Bhumipon Adunyadet), i.e. Jasminum bhumibolianum, and in Thai known as ma-li chaleum narin (ลิเฉลิมนรินทร์), i.e. celebrated royal jasmine’. it is a newly discovered species found in Northeastern Thailand, i.e. Isaan. It is rather rare and its conservation status is assessed as critically endangered. Its common name in English is Bhumibol Jasmine.
