The Jaipur Observatory, officially known as Jantar Mantar, consists of a
collection of stone buildings that serve as astronomical instruments.
Most of these
instruments are complex
astronomical devices for cosmological and planetary
constellation. They are built on a large scale in order
that readings can be obtained very accurately.
