Shanhu Lake, also referred to as Fir Lake, in the center of Guilin, a city in Guangxi province, features a silver and a golden pagoda (fig.), that are also known as the Sun and Moon Pagodas and represent the principle of yin and yang. The two pagodas are connected by a glass underwater tunnel.
