A Giant Asian Pond Turtle, a large semi-aquatic turtle that is found in Southeast Asia. It is also called Orange-headed Temple Terrapin (fig.).

Whilst the colour of the carapace in older animals might fade, the pale dorsal midline usually stays clearly distinct.
