Elongated Tortoises have an distinctly elongated carapace with a significantly enlarged supracaudal scute, i.e. the keratinized plate above the tail.

This feature is clearly noticeably in these animals at Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Ho Chi Min City.
