Corrections Museum
The Corrections Museum in Bangkok sheds light on Thailand's prison history and life behind bars.
The museum is in a former penitentiary located on Mahachai Road. In Thai, it is officially known as Phiphithaphan Rachathan, but in popular speech it is referred to as kuk kao, i.e. the ‘old prison’.
