A hallway with one-person prison cells in the Corrections Museum in Bangkok. When allowed out, heavy punished and dangerous prisoners were made to wear a large wooden beam around the neck.

This beam, known as Ta Ngohk (ตะโหงก), enabled them to walk back and forth, and do manual work, whilst it prevented them to escape.
