Phak kahd khao is the Thai name for the napa cabbage, which is also known as celery cabbage.
It is a kind of Chinese cabbage with somewhat rutted, elongated leaves, which are light green with white petioles, that sit tightly packed together in the cylindrical head, with the tip of the leaves growing toward each other.
