 Subject:

A man and his brain making brain waves, represented by a spiral and lightning bolts emerging from it, and in the background numerous depictions of major events, situations and milestones in human life. The brain waves symbolize the fundamental cause of mental problems, which mostly result from confusion and complications in human thinking. At the bottom left is a small frame with a black-and-white depiction of a nurse and some patients, which is the logo of mercy of the Somdet Chao Phraya Institute of Psychiatry in Bangkok, i.e. the first psychiatric hospital in Thailand, established by the benevolence of King Rama V on 1 November 1889, initially under the name Insane Asylum, and today offering neurological and neurosurgical treatment for psychiatric patients.
