Oracle stones are rather large stones used in Myanmar to foretell if a wish will be granted or not. Fortune seekers come here to rub the stone while making a wish, and then predict if the stone will feel either heavy or light when lifted.

If the feel of it corresponds to their prediction, it is believed that their wish will be fulfilled. These oracle stones lie in front of the shrines of the outer nats (fig.) at Shwezigon Phaya in Bagan.
