These animal shaped Burmese harps are used as an ornamental objects and both were seen in Rangoon, one in a hotel lobby, the other in the International Airport departure hall.

The one in the photo above is in the form of a peacock, the national symbols of Myanmar, the one on the right is a crocodile, an animal once found in the wild in Burma.
