Asian Elephant (Myanmar)
In Myanmar, elephants are known as sain, and are a subspecies of the Asian Elephant, with the Latin name Elephas maximus indicus, which also includes the Indian (fig.) and Thai (fig.) species, but not the species from Sri Lanka (fig.).
In the picture above, some mahouts lead two elephants downhill towards a lake in Myanmar's Shan State, in order to wash them.
