The Burmese General Surin Chokhong with his aides-de-camp Manih Chokhong and Maha Chothaeng. They were sent by the King of Ang Wa, i.e. Ava (fig.), in Burmese known as Inwa, with a 1,000 men strong army.

They were meant to be reinforcements in support of the troops of General Ne Myo Thihapate, but they met with fierce resistance from the villagers of Bang Rajan in Singburi (fig.), where Surin Chokhong was killed in battle.
