The
Black-bearded Tomb Bat
is a species of insectivorous bat
with a pale buff to greyish-brown fur, while males also have a dark elongated
patch on the throat.
They
belong to the
sheath-tailed bat family Emballonuridae and
have a free slender tail which
is up to 2.4 centimeters long. Its body and head measure
a length of around 9 to 10 centimeters, whilst its
wingspan is between 37 to 40 centimeters.
