Bangkok flooding
During the wet monsoon, i.e. the rainy season (fig.), known in Thai as nah fon, large areas of Thailand often get flooded, a phenomenon called nahm thuam.
In cities like Bangkok this is often worsened by litter that ends up in city canals and eventually ends up clogging the municipal's drainage system.
