Asian Openbills
The upper and lower jaw of the Asian Openbill do not completely meet, except at the tip, thus leaving a gap, which gave rise to this bird's name.
They are wading birds and can be found in paddy fields and marshes, where they mainly feed on molluscs, frogs and large insects.
