An aircraft flying over Thai
territory under the directive of AEROTHAI, i.e. the
Aeronautical Radio of Thailand, provides Air Traffic Control
(ATC) services using radar and Automatic Dependent
Surveillance (ADS) systems in order to manage and control
the flow of air traffic over Thailand's national airspace.
Both systems can provide aircraft information, such as call
sign, position, heading and altitude, as well as other
information necessary for effective ATC operations. The
postage stamp's background consists of a radar screen,
whilst a red radar antenna is depicted in the bottom right
corner. In the top left corner, is AEROTHAI's 50th
Anniversary logo, i.e. the frontal view of an airplane over
the number 50. |
