  moo sawan (heavenly pork)

Thailand

Moo sawan is a snack of deep-fried slices of pork, which have been rubbed in a mixture of sugar and soy sauce, laid aside for a while to soak, and then sun dried for a couple of hours to lose any excess fluids. It is typically eaten with sticky rice.
